Dr Vijay Bangar and Mr Lakshman Bangar were invited to a meeting of the Rotary Club in Phillaur.

They were given Honorary life membership of the club, in recognition of the medical work done to serve the population of that area.

The rotary president announced that a medical camp has been run on an annual basis by  an organising partnership, composed of Slumdoctor Project from the UK and Baba Braham Dass Charitable Trust of India (Registered India and UK).

It transpires that some of the volunteers from India were members of the Rotary Club, and reported the charities activities back to their base.
